Rental Revamp

This one-bedroom rental apartment began as a basic white box—an ideal canvas for layers of pattern and color, starting with an entryway tented in a cotton block print. Antique objets and artwork brought character back to the space, as did a touch of well-placed wallpaper. We designed a custom banquette to carve out a petite dining area and added smart concealed storage beneath a fringed table skirt.
